Chefy vs Petpooja: how to compare fairly

Petpooja is a widely used Indian restaurant platform. Chefy is an offline-first restaurant OS with a Windows branch app. Compare architecture and outage behaviour — and verify every competitor claim on Petpooja’s own site and demos.

What we can state about Chefy

Chefy keeps live orders on the branch Windows app, supports KDS/KOT, Waiter Hub, QR menus, Hisaab Book, and Restaurant Admin. Sync Cloud uploads paid tickets for Insights when enabled.

Chefy plans are published on the product site as Starter ₹3,999/month (1 branch, offline POS, KDS tablet), Growth ₹7,999/month (up to 5 branches, Waiter Hub, QR ordering), and Enterprise ₹14,999/month (unlimited branches, SLA, onboarding). Annual billing is offered with roughly 16% savings versus paying month to month.

  • Offline-first local orders
  • KDS + KOT options
  • Hisaab Book on the branch PC
  • Cloud admin for menu and licenses

What we will not invent about Petpooja

We do not invent Petpooja pricing, module lists, or uptime numbers here. Ask Petpooja for a current demo and offline drill. Ask Chefy for the same. Compare where open tickets live when WAN fails.

When Chefy is the better fit

Prefer Chefy when the dining room must survive ISP failure and you want Hisaab on the same station as POS. Prefer another suite when you already rely on that ecosystem — still run an offline drill yourself.
